Eagles vs Cowboys Preview

By Ryan Foray
The Cowboys swept the Eagles in the regular season and won the division officially after their 24-0 blowout against the birds. The Eagles had a chance to clinch homefield advantage up until at least the NFC title game. Now they will have to be road warriors if they want to hold the Lombardi Trophy. The Cowboys have a lot of momentum and look to be a major favorite to make a run.
How the Eagles will win: Donovan McNabb will need his WR’s to get open and fast. Last week the Eagles had many chances to change the momentum in that game and blew it. Look for DeShawn Jackson and Jerry Maclin to show up to play today
How the Cowboys will win: Tony Romo, you have a lot on your plate today son. The Cowboys have not won a playoff game since 1996. Look for the defense try to smother McNabb as well as giving the ball to Felix Jones to make a home run play.
Surprise Factor: Cowboys WR Roy Williams. I could of Said Jackson, Witten, Austin, etc. I’m pulling a 180 instead. I think Williams will try to make a big play now that he’s finally on a playoff team. Watch and see if he really shows up today.

Prediction: The Cowboys have a lot of steam and will continue it. I have this game coming down to the wire. Sorry Eagle Fans, it will be close but no title this year.
COWBOYS 24, EAGLES 23.
