RICHMOND, VA-- Three University of Richmond Baseball Players have been suspended indefinitely from the team after being charged with Felony Burglary Charges.
Junior Andrew Lowry and Freshman teammates Jacob Mayers and Blake Geiger have been accused of going into dormitories over spring break and stealing various electronics from rooms, including an X-Box and Computer speakers. The players are still currently enrolled at the University.
Many Students that were spoken to had little to no knowledge of the campus crime. "My understanding is that…they were here over spring break when no one else was [here]", said Phillip Kaye, a student at Richmond,"…and they would just go through the dorms and try to find open rooms…go in and take stuff from them."
University officials as well as coaching staff were not available for comment.
